Volunteers, with the support of 3DE teachers, serve as sounding boards for several small groups of students over the course of a school day; supplementing their learning with your own experience and insight! Pre-visit materials and onsite orientation are provided; the only thing that's missing is YOU!
A little bit about 3DE: 3DE is an instructional model which helps high school students connect what they're learning in the classroom to life after high school. Students work together in small groups to research, ideate, and present on a case study. Along the way, they practice skills and competencies needed for leading choice-filled lives; such as critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and leadership.
3DE volunteer experiences are located at Washington Tech Magnet high school, Como Park Sr. high school, and Harding high school.
