Do you love local history? Are you fascinated by the people who have shaped our history since the beginning? Do you love working with elementary school age students? If you answered yes to all three, please consider joining the Los Altos History Museum School Tour Program as an Education Docent!

Each Spring, our program provides highly regarded educational tours to local 3rd and 4th graders during their school field trips. For more information, please visit: https://www.losaltoshistory.org/education/student-tours/

This is an adult volunteer program. You must be over 18, and available to volunteer on weekdays from 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Experience working with 3rd and 4th grade elementary school children is highly desirable. Retired teachers, scout leaders, docents experienced in leading history, art, music, nature programs, and the like, for school children preferred.
