INCREASING H.O.P.E Volunteer Receptionist Job Description
The Increasing H.O.P.E Volunteer Receptionist plays an essential role in maintaining the flow of communication within the organization and ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.
The Increasing H.O.P.E Volunteer Receptionist duties will include:
- Greeting visitors and clients; creating a positive first impression.
- Answering telephone calls and directing inquiries to the appropriate individual or department.
- Performing various administrative tasks, including data entry and other assigned duties.
- Maintaining a clean and organized reception workstation and office.
- Provide Lobby Reception coverage at the Front Desk on Mondays and Thursdays, 12:00 pm -1:00 pm. Other dates and times may be assigned in the event of an emergency.
The Increasing H.O.P.E Volunteer Receptionist should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in operating standard office equipment, including a telephone system and office copier.
- Strong telephone etiquette, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills for both the inter-office and Front Lobby Reception Desk.
- Basic computer skills and data entry capabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when necessary.
