    Description

    Location: Los Angeles, CA

    Compensation: Housing provided (room included)

Program: New Image Women’s Home - a program of Mirror to Image

    About Us:

New Image Women’s Home provides safe, structured, and restorative transitional housing for women and women with children recovering from human trafficking, domestic violence, and substance abuse. We offer more than shelter-we provide a path to lasting healing, independence, and empowerment.

    Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our home and ensure residents are actively engaged in their program. This role is heavy on house management and accountability, with a smaller case management component. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, firm when needed, and committed to supporting women on their journey toward recovery and independence.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supervise day-to-day operations of the home, maintaining a clean, safe, and structured environment.
    • Administer and document regular and random drug testing according to program policy.
    • Hold residents accountable for completing their program requirements, chores, and personal responsibilities.
    • Enforce house rules and address conflicts fairly and consistently.
    • Manage household supplies, and coordinate minor maintenance or repairs.
    • Conduct regular safety and health checks of the home.
    • Support residents in completing program tasks, appointments, and personal goals.
    • Conduct brief one-on-one check-ins to encourage follow-through and problem-solve barriers.
    • Connect residents to resources, community partners, and support services as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
    • Compassionate but firm approach to accountability.
    • Ability to handle conflict and crises calmly and professionally.
    • Previous experience in residential programs, social services, or supportive housing preferred but not required.

    What We Offer:

    • Housing in exchange for fulfilling the role.
    • Hands-on experience in transformative, mission-driven work.
    • Opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of women survivors.

    How to Apply:

Send your resume and a brief statement of interest to [email/contact]. Please include any relevant experience working with women, residential programs, or supportive services.
