    Description

Become a Mentor with Be A Mentor!

    Why Your Help is Needed

The COVID-19 Pandemic exacerbated many issues youth face. They are now dealing with increased challenges such as:

    Isolation

    Anxiety

    Falling behind in their studies

As a Mentor, you will focus on

    Goal setting

    Homework help

    Career exploration

While homework help may be part of the sessions, these meetings are more than just tutoring. You and your Mentee will form a personal relationship to help build resilience, social engagement, and a vital support network.

    How Mentors Make a Difference

    One-on-one attention

    Support

    Encouragement for success

This is an in-person group mentoring program-

A commitment of 1 hour a week for 1 full year

All mentors are required to complete a background check and training. Our mentoring coordinator will be available for support throughout the program (from beginning to end).
