Looking for a way to use your skills for good?
We're putting out a special call for certified cosmetology and barber volunteers to help bring comfort and dignity to hospice patients who live in their homes or at long term care facilities in lower Middlesex, Monmouth and Ocean Counties in New Jersey.
In hospice care, it's the small things that often mean the most. A fresh hairstyle, a gentle manicure, or a simple hair cut can lift a person's spirits and help them feel more like themselves. Your talent can be a source of immense comfort, helping our patients feel seen, cared for, and beautiful in their final stages of life.
This is more than just a haircut or manicure; it's an act of kindness, a moment of human connection, and a chance to offer peace and dignity through your craft.
If you are a certified cosmetologist/barber with a compassionate heart and a desire to make a meaningful difference, please consider joining our team of volunteers.
To learn more and apply, please contact Volunteer Coordinator, Vellus Campbell at velluscampbell@holisticarehospice.org or 732-731-8100.
