Support local disaster responses from your home!
Liaison with local authorities by phone and computer and dispatch and support Red Cross disaster responders.
Responsibilities include:
- Process requests from local authorities, determining if Red Cross action is warranted based on event triggers (i.e. size, scope, and type of event) All training provided, along with back up support as needed.
- Dispatch disaster response teams and resources and provide remote support.
- Complete and share documentation
- Attend regularly scheduled meetings and stay current on all training.
- Additional related duties as discussed with supervisor.
