Are you someone who loves bowling and making new friends? We're looking for a friendly, patient, and enthusiastic volunteer to be a Bowling Companion for an adult with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Your role? Simply show up, share some laughs, roll a few frames, and offer support and encouragement. No special training required—just a kind heart and a willingness to build a meaningful connection through shared fun.
What you’ll do:
- Join a person with I/DD for weekly or biweekly bowling outings
- Offer companionship, encouragement, and a helping hand if needed
- Celebrate the good times—strikes, spares, or just showing up!
Ideal for:
- Retirees, college students, or anyone with a free weekday morning or afternoon
- People with a passion for inclusion and community involvement
- Volunteers looking for a relaxed, one-on-one opportunity to make a difference
Perks:
- Free games and shoes (we’ve got you covered!)
- Feel-good vibes that last long after the game ends
- A new friendship that could be the highlight of your week
