    Noah Career Coaching is dedicated to empowering individuals to achieve their professional goals through career guidance, coaching, and skill development. We rely on the generosity of volunteers to help us expand our programs and reach more people in need.

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Volunteer Grant Writer to join our team. In this role, you will research funding opportunities, prepare compelling grant proposals, and help secure resources that allow us to continue making a positive impact in our community. This is a remote, flexible volunteer position ideal for someone looking to gain experience in nonprofit fundraising or apply their writing skills for a meaningful cause.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Research potential grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
    • Write, edit, and submit persuasive grant proposals that align with our mission and programs.
    • Prepare necessary supporting documents for grant applications.
    • Track application deadlines, submission statuses, and follow-up communications.
    • Collaborate with leadership to gather program details, success stories, and financial data.
    • Maintain organized records of submitted proposals and funding outcomes.

    Qualifications

    • Strong writing, editing, and research skills.
    • Ability to translate complex information into clear, compelling narratives.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
    • Prior experience in grant writing, nonprofit fundraising, or related fields is a plus (but not required).
    • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to meet deadlines.
    • Comfortable working independently and communicating remotely.
    • At least 18 years of age or older

    Time Commitment

    • Flexible hours; approximately 3-5 hours per week, depending on workload and deadlines.
