    Description

    Write-Right Nutrition Program Volunteers

Volunteers are the lifeblood of nonprofits, bringing fresh perspectives and new ideas to help the organization adapt and grow. Volunteers bring value to the nonprofit through the services and assistance they offer. There is no doubt volunteers are an essential component of a nonprofit’s operations. If you care about the community’s health and well-being, we invite you to join our nonprofit organization as an official volunteer.

DFOWW Incorporated is a 501(c)3 federal tax-exempt nonprofit charity organization headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. Here at DFOWW Incorporated, we provide services and resources to low-income communities and families with children to promote self-sufficiency. Our mission is to provide disproportionately disadvantaged, underserved communities, families, and children equality and equity through nutrition, health and wellness, academic literacy, book writing & self-publishing, and entrepreneurship self-sufficiency workshops.

We are seeking to recruit and onboard committed, dependable, long-term volunteers who are passionate about helping others. Being a volunteer has lots of benefits. It can bring meaning and purpose to your life, while increasing your self-esteem and wellbeing. Volunteering can also relieve stress and alleviate symptoms of depression. All volunteers must have reliable transportation.

We have several open volunteer positions available including the following:

      • Volunteer drivers to deliver meals
      • Meeting room space setup
      • Plant pick up and drop off
      • Event food servers
      • Remote office staff to send out and respond to emails
      • Remote social media outreach manager

    Benefits:

      • Networking
      • Free Food
      • Mileage tax write-off

Volunteers will be required to complete an application and submit to a criminal background check.
