Our mission is "to improve the health of the underserved and vulnerable through holistic information, education and advocacy", bridging the gap in holistic health understanding, ensuring everyone has access to vital information to live healthier, more fulfilling lives. The Opportunity:

Are you a seasoned recruiter with a passion for making a real difference? We're seeking a Volunteer Recruiter to help us identify and engage exceptional senior team and board members who will drive our mission forward. This is a crucial, high-impact role where your expertise will directly contribute to our charity's expansion and reach.

What You'll Do:

As our Volunteer Recruiter, you'll be instrumental in building our leadership capacity. Your responsibilities will include:

• Utilizing platforms like VolunteerMatch and similar services to source qualified candidates.
• Leveraging your own professional network (a big plus!) to identify potential senior team and board members.
• Engaging with prospective volunteers, articulating our mission, and assessing their fit for high-level roles.
• Collaborating directly with the CEO to understand recruitment needs and align with organizational goals.

Who You Are:

• Experienced Recruiter: You have a proven track record in recruitment, ideally with some experience in identifying senior-level talent.
• Mission-Driven: A genuine passion for holistic health literacy and our charity's mission is essential.
• Networking Pro: You're comfortable and skilled at connecting with people, both through online platforms and your personal network.
• Self-Starter: You're proactive, organized, and capable of managing your own pipeline and outreach.

Commitment:

This is a virtual, part-time volunteer role, requiring approximately 5-10 hours per week, flexible to your schedule.
