Social Media Content Volunteer

One Love Animal Rescue and Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of animals in our communities through a variety of programs.

We are looking for a creative volunteer who is already comfortable and familiar with social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube to aid in our mission by capturing the work we do on a daily basis and highlighting the lives of the animals we work with through high-quality content and help us grow our online presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Creation: Visit the One Love animals in person to film and photograph our animals, events and demonstrate the work we are doing in our community
• Community Engagement: Assist with monitoring and replying to comments and messages to ensure our followers feel supported and connected to our mission.
• Brand Consistency: Maintain a stable online presence that reflects our values of compassion and education.
• Animal Comfort: You must be comfortable working closely with a wide variety of animals (such as cats, birds, reptiles, small mammals, tortoises, and goats) - animal handling assistance can be provided but a basic comfort level around animals is required
• Creativity: Coming up with fresh ideas for content suggestions and areas we can improve our social media presence
• Reliability: While some of this role can be done remotely, we are looking for someone who is able to commit to volunteering in this capacity a few hours per week at minimum on a consistent long term basis.
