    Description

    Role Summary: As an Onboarding officer, you will be responsible for guiding new employees through the onboarding process, helping them assimilate into the company culture, and providing them with the necessary tools and information to excel in their roles. You will collaborate closely with various teams to deliver a comprehensive onboarding experience that aligns with our company's values and objectives.

    Role Responsibilities:

    • Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for one new volunteer, from pre-arrival to the successful completion of their initial period.
    • Conduct orientation sessions to familiarize new volunteer with the company's mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures.
    • Coordinate with the department manager to ensure that department-specific onboarding activities are effectively integrated into the overall process.
    • Serve as a point of contact for new hires, addressing their questions, concerns, and needs during the onboarding journey.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless transition of new employees into their respective roles.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to onboarding activities, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements.

    Basic Duties:

    • Develop and update onboarding materials, presentations, and resources to reflect the company's current policies and practices.
    • Communicate effectively with candidates and hiring team members.
    • Review records and documentation related to interviews.
    • Provide administrative support to the volunteer reources team during the recruitment process.
    • Conduct regular check-ins with new hires to evaluate their progress, gather feedback, and offer additional support if needed.
    • Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for new volunteer, helping her/him build connections with colleagues and team members.
