    About Us:

    Comprehensive Infant Development Organization (CIDO) is a registered nonprofit organization in Rwanda dedicated to promoting inclusive development for children under 18 years old.

    Our mission is inclusive holistic development in physical, cognitive, emotional, social and spiritual dimension for children under 18 years old.

    To strengthen our mission and expand our impact, we are seeking dedicated volunteers to help us build meaningful partnerships with donors and funding organizations around the world.

    Position Summary:

    The Donor Relations & Partnership Development Volunteer will support CIDO in establishing and maintaining partnerships with donors, foundations, corporations, and international organizations. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about nonprofit fundraising, donor communication, and international development.

    You will help identify funding opportunities, prepare outreach materials, and coordinate relationship-building efforts that enable CIDO to reach more children and families in need.

    Key Responsibilities:

      • Research and identify potential donors, foundations, and corporate partners aligned with CIDO’s mission.
      • Draft partnership proposals, donor correspondence, and presentation materials.
      • Support the coordination of donor outreach, follow-ups, and engagement activities.
      • Maintain an organized database of donors, prospects, and communication records.
      • Assist in preparing updates, impact stories, and reports for donors and partners.
      • Collaborate with program and communication teams to align fundraising strategies.
      • Provide regular feedback and suggestions for improving donor relations.

    Qualifications and Skills:

      • Strong written and verbal communication skills (English required).
      • Interest in nonprofit fundraising, donor relations, or partnership development.
      • Basic research and data management skills.
      • Reliable, proactive, and self-motivated.
      • Experience in proposal writing, communications, or marketing is an asset but not required.
      • Ability to work independently and remotely within an international team.
