    Commitment: 20 to 25 hours per week

    LoopRoots Foundation supports justice-impacted individuals as they rebuild their lives and reintegrate into their communities. Our mission is to create structured pathways to stability through workforce development, reentry support, strategic partnerships, and long-term opportunity access. We are building a coordinated ecosystem of programs designed to remove systemic barriers and promote dignity, independence, and economic mobility.

    Position Overview

    The Volunteer Director of Marketing & Communications will lead the development and execution of a cohesive messaging and visibility strategy across all programs. This role is responsible for strengthening brand presence, increasing community engagement, supporting fundraising efforts, and ensuring consistent communication across platforms.

    This is a leadership-level volunteer role reporting directly to the Founder and working closely with the Director of Programs.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy

    • Ensure brand consistency across website, social media, email, and print materials

    • Lead storytelling and impact messaging efforts

    • Support fundraising campaigns through strategic communications

    • Draft press releases, announcements, and public messaging

    • Coordinate with program teams to highlight impact and outcomes

    • Monitor engagement and recommend visibility strategies

    • Identify partnership and media exposure opportunities

    Qualifications

    • Experience in marketing, communications, branding, or nonprofit engagement

    • Strong writing and storytelling ability

    • Strategic thinker who can also execute

    • Experience managing digital platforms and social media

    • Passion for mission-driven work and community impact
