Join Spectrum Autism Support Group and AngelFish GA for a heartwarming and inclusive day at the Annual Adaptive Family Swim Party. This special event creates a safe, welcoming environment where individuals with disabilities and their families can enjoy open swim time together in a supportive, community-centered setting.
Volunteers play an essential role in helping the event run smoothly and ensuring families feel comfortable and supported throughout the day. Volunteer responsibilities may include greeting and checking in guests, helping direct families, supporting hospitality areas, assisting with event setup and cleanup, and providing general event support as needed. Volunteers will work closely with Spectrum and AngelFish GA staff to help maintain a calm, organized, and inclusive atmosphere.
No swim skills are required, as volunteers will not be in the pool. This opportunity is ideal for volunteers who enjoy supporting inclusive events, interacting with families, and contributing to a positive community experience. Clear guidance and on-site support will be provided.
Volunteers are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing suitable for a pool facility environment and follow all posted safety guidelines.
