Mentor Girls In Chicago!

Are you passionate about mentoring high school girls and empowering the next generation of leaders? Pretty Brown Girl (PBG) is seeking two female Bilingual Mentors to guide and inspire teen girls on the Southwest Side of Chicago!

The Pretty Brown Girl Program provides girls in grades 3rd-12th with a culturally responsive, personalized learning environment. Our program combines a variety of experiences, instructional approaches, and academic support strategies to help girls thrive. By fostering self-love, academic achievement, character building, community advocacy, and leadership skills, our program is proven to enhance confidence, resilience, and a positive attitude toward self and others.

Role Details:

• Location: Assigned school site, Southwest Chicago
• Commitment: Once a week, 1-hour sessions, for up to 15 weeks (tentatively starting end of October 2025)
• Support: Mentors receive signature PBG merchandise, training, and stipend

Requirements:

• Must be Bilingual
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
• Commitment to fostering a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all participants
• Passion for mentoring girls of color and promoting social-emotional growth and leadership development
