    Description

    Join Edible Hope Kitchen to serve breakfast to guests experiencing food insecurity and homelessness in Seattle. Volunteers will help prepare, serve, and clean up meals for the community on Monday, January 19 from 7 AM to 11 AM.

    Edible Hope Kitchen serves about 120 meals daily, and on MLK Day, they expect to serve closer to 240 meals. Tasks include:

    • Cooking or heating prepped food from the day before
    • Chopping vegetables and fruit for salads
    • Serving meals and greeting guests
    • Cleaning up and prepping for the following day

    Volunteers should dress comfortably and be ready to help wherever needed. Light lifting and standing for extended periods may be required.
