    About Us:

    The Veterans Memorial and Support Foundation is a non-profit organization built to develop and maintain tribute to past present and future US Military members, veterans, first responders. We partner with community organizations and national allies to improve the quality of life for those who served.

    Position Summary:

    The Veterans Foundation is seeking a dedicated and passionate Foundation Fundraiser to support our mission of honoring and serving veterans who have bravely sacrificed for our country. This is a non-paid volunteer position, ideal for someone who wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of veterans.

    As a Fundraiser, you will play a crucial role in helping us grow our resources and extend our outreach. Your efforts will directly contribute to sustaining programs and services that provide critical support to veterans and their families.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Meet with potential donors 1:1 to raise funds for the Foundation
    • Identify and engage potential donors, sponsors, and community partners
    • Maintain donor databases and send thank-you communications
    • Collaborate with other volunteers and team members on fundraising goals
    • Provide input to Event Planner/Organizer about creative fundraising events, strategies and campaigns
    • Provide input into grant writing and proposal submissions
    • Represent the Veterans Foundation with integrity and compassion

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Deep passion and respect for veterans and military families
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Motivated, self-directed, and able to work independently
    • Experience in fundraising, event planning, marketing, or grant writing is a plus
    • Basic computer literacy (email, Word, spreadsheets)
    • Willingness to learn and contribute to a team-driven mission
