    Description

    Basic volunteer duties involved in this assignment:

    • Provide Yard Maintenance including: Lawn Mowing, Weed whacking, Trimming hedges, Weeding flower beds
    • Yard Clean up-picking up sticks, branches, debris

    Basic volunteer qualifications involved with this assignment: Ability to operate lawnmowers, small tools, and outdoor equipment, have endurance to perform outdoor work, ability to complete a timesheet.

    Who will be served by this assignment? Patient and family of Hospice of the Western Reserve

    What is the anticipated benefit of this volunteer service to those receiving the service? Patients/families affected by illnesses that prevent them from caring for their yards will have their property maintained and be relieved of the worry/stress. They will be able to enjoy/appreciate their volunteer maintained yards.

    What specific skills will the volunteer need? Walking, bending, stooping, steadiness, physical capability of performing outdoor work; ability to travel to assignments
