    Description

    We are seeking a fundraising team members for our nonprofit that can either work remote and/or on-site close to Wake County, NC.

    Which consists of developing and executing fundraising strategies, cultivating donor relationships, planning and managing fundraising events, and preparing grant proposals. They are responsible for maintaining donor databases, creating fundraising materials, tracking progress, and collaborating with other teams to meet financial goals. Key skills include strong communication, organization, relationship-building, and a passion for the organization's mission.

    Key responsibilities

    • Strategy and execution: Design and implement comprehensive fundraising campaigns and strategies to meet or exceed goals.
    • Donor relations: Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and foundations through communication and engagement.
    • Event management: Plan, organize, and manage fundraising events like galas, auctions, and walks, from budgeting and logistics to execution.
    • Material creation: Collaborate with communications teams to create compelling fundraising materials, such as proposals, presentations, and impact reports.
    • Performance analysis: Monitor and analyze fundraising performance metrics to evaluate success and adjust strategies as needed.

    Required qualifications and skills

    • Experience: Proven experience in fundraising, development, or a related role is frequently required.
    • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with donors and creating materials.
    • Interpersonal skills: Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills are crucial for cultivating donor relationships.
    • Organization: Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary for managing multiple projects and events.
    • Tech proficiency: Experience with donor management software and online fundraising platforms is helpful.
    • Passion for mission: A genuine passion for the organization's mission is a key motivator for a successful fundraiser.
