Volunteer Photographer

Help our foster cats and dogs put their best paw forward! We’re looking for a volunteer photographer with a good eye, basic photography skills, and a natural ability to work with animals. You don’t need to be a professional—just someone who’s patient, creative, and knows how to capture an animal’s personality.

Responsibilities

• Photograph foster cats and dogs in their foster homes
• Use simple techniques to help animals feel comfortable and cooperative
• Coordinate flexible photo sessions with foster caregivers
• Provide clear, appealing photos for adoption listings and promotions
• Communicate with Fosters, Animal Care and Social Media volunteers in a clear and timely manner.

Qualifications

• Comfortable handling and working around cats and dogs
• Decent photography skills (smartphone or camera welcome)
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to foster homes within Loudoun County
• Dependable, communicative, and respectful of foster homes

Time Commitment

• Flexible hours, scheduled directly with foster caregivers
