    Lead the Way: Volunteer Study Hall Managers Needed!

    Are you ready to take the lead in empowering adult learners?

    Academy of Hope is urgently seeking dedicated volunteers to Manage & Lead our weekly in-person Study Hall sessions at our Ward 5 Campus. We aren't just looking for tutors; we need facilitators who can provide structure, guidance, and support to help our adult learners succeed.

    The Role: As a Study Hall Leader, you will oversee a two-hour block dedicated to helping students master their coursework. We will ensure you have all the resources and materials you need to effectively assist learners.

    The Schedule (Weekly Commitment): We are looking for consistency to help build rapport with our students.

    • Location: Ward 5 Campus (In-person)
    • Tuesdays (Math Focus): 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM OR 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
    • Wednesdays (Reading Focus): 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM OR 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

    Instructions:

    All new volunteers are required to pass a background check and attend one orientation session. The session will provide everything you need to have a successful and rewarding experience with AoH.

    During Orientation, You Will:

    • Increase your knowledge and understanding of AoH, our Volunteer Program, and available opportunities.
    • Learn about the mission and history of Academy of Hope Adult Public Charter School.
    • Review volunteer role, responsibilities, and expectations.
    • Go over key policies and procedures in the AoH Volunteer Handbook.
    • Meet your Volunteer Coordinator, who will facilitate the session.
