    Title: Director of Program Development (Volunteer)

    Organization: PostBaby Bliss Foundation

    Location: Hybrid (Houston, TX preferred, with occasional in-person events)

    Commitment: ~15–20 hours/week | Flexible schedule

    Compensation: Volunteer position

    PostBaby Bliss Foundation is a startup nonprofit with a big vision: to ensure that every postpartum family feels nurtured, informed, and supported. We’re building programs that prioritize maternal mental health, family well-being, and real community connection. As our Director of Program Development, you won’t just help implement our programs—you’ll help create them from the ground up.

    What You'll Be Doing

    As the Director of Program Development (Volunteer), you'll help design, launch, and manage programs that truly matter. You’ll work closely with the Executive Director to turn vision into action.

    Program Leadership & Coordination

    • Assist with the planning, development, and delivery of programs and services
    • Coordinate logistics for workshops, support groups, and events (virtual & in-person)
    • Support ongoing innovation and growth of new initiatives

    Volunteer Management

    • Help recruit, train, and support program volunteers
    • Ensure team members have clear goals, resources, and guidance

    Administrative & Operational Support

    • Maintain calendars, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
    • Organize and track program deliverables, feedback, and documentation

    Community Engagement & Outreach

    • Respond to participant inquiries and build relationships with families we serve
    • Help spread the word via social media, newsletters, and outreach campaigns

    Who You Are

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare or related field required; Master’s preferred
    • Experience: Background in program coordination, project management, or healthcare services
    • Extra Points for:
      • Experience building or launching programs
      • Knowledge of EHR systems
      • Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace
    • Personal Traits:
      • Mission-driven, proactive, and organized
      • Strong communicator who thrives in a flexible, collaborative environment
      • Passionate about maternal health, postpartum care, and family well-being
