    Description

Animal Ambulance (Transport and/or First Responder)

CWR's annual animal intake is over 7000 animals! We rely heavily on transport volunteers to get them to the center. If you want to help but need a flexible schedule, this is the position for you!

As a Transport Volunteer, you will register your home and/or work address in our private database. If an animal in need is nearby, you’ll be tagged on our dedicated Transport Facebook group allowing you to decide when you are able to volunteer. Depending on the situation, you may work with other volunteers or staff to capture an animal. Upon pick-up, all animals must be transported to our facility in Indian Trail.

Transporters needed throughout North and South Carolina.
