LoopRoots Foundation (DBA Loop Foundation) is a justice-focused nonprofit committed to supporting families impacted by incarceration. From visitation access to reentry services, youth programs to therapy check-ins — we design real-world solutions for real-world families. We're seeking a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Design volunteer to join our Loop Foundation Branding & Communications Team. You'll work directly with our founder, PR team, and outreach leads to design materials that move people — from families to funders to future partners.

    Responsibilities

    • Design flyers, digital graphics, and outreach toolkits for Loop Foundation programs (e.g., LoopTalk, LoopJobs, LoopHousing)
    • Create social media assets and branded visuals
    • Contribute to visual storytelling for community campaigns and grant proposals
    • Assist in building branded templates for Canva and Google Docs
    • Uphold Loop’s brand guidelines (neon pink, neon orange, neon yellow, white)
    • Design swag mockups (shirts, tote bags, event posters)
    • Optional: help shape visual style for upcoming community centers and LoopMoments

    Qualifications

    • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
    • Strong eye for color, layout, and branding
    • Passion for storytelling through design
    • Comfort with feedback and iteration
    • Bonus: experience designing for social justice or nonprofit orgs

A professional design portfolio with mission-aligned work

Real feedback from community members, PR advisors, and leadership

    Mentorship and weekly check-ins

Opportunity for academic credit (if eligible)

Potential onboarding or paid freelance work after 90-day review
