    Food Rescue Hero

    40% of America's food goes to waste, while 1 in 5 people go hungry right here in Cuyahoga County. Join us in the fight to end hunger!

    Hunger Network Food Rescue relies solely on volunteers to transport food donations from donor sites, such as grocery stores, bakeries, restaurants, and produce distributors, to our nonprofit partner recipients, including emergency food centers, community centers, healthcare organizations, schools and libraries. We operate 7 days/week (except for major holidays), and have rescues available throughout Cuyahoga County. This opportunity requires the use of a smart phone to operate the Food Rescue Hero App, a current driver's license and auto insurance, along with use of a personal vehicle.
