Job Description:
The CFO serves as both a member of the Board of Directors and the financial steward of Grace of Calvary Ministries. This volunteer role oversees financial reporting, compliance, and fiscal management to support the Board and Executive Director in guiding the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare quarterly financial statements and CFO analysis for Board meetings.
- Advise the Board and Executive Director on financial and operational matters.
- Review, approve, and process reimbursements and missionary support payments.
- Manage year-end financial close, donor contribution reports, and preliminary annual reports.
- Prepare and file the IRS Form 990-EZ annually, including extensions when needed.
- Provide financial reports to supporting churches and entities as requested.
Time Commitment:
Volunteer role averaging about 5 hours per week, with some weeks requiring more and others less, depending on financial activity.
