Play some board games and chat with families transitioning out of homelessness at an interim or permanent supportive housing site in the Valley (North Hollywood, Van Nuys, Pacoima, Lancaster, and more).
Why: One of the most potent ways you can help our participants transition out of homelessness is to give them opportunities for healthy social interaction. It may seem like you're just playing checkers, but you're helping someone practice their communication skills and heal their interpersonal relationships.
Who: L.A. Family Housing (LAFH) is a trusted organization that works tirelessly to help families transition out of homelessness and poverty through a continuum of housing enriched with supportive services.
When: Most game nights happen on Wednesday evening. Please click the following link to see opportunity dates on LAFH Website. LA Family Housing | Family Game Night
