    Description

    Reader/Responder

In the privacy of your own home or office, a Volunteer Reader responds anonymously to a wide variety of course material, including poetry, artwork, culture, and science assignments completed by College Guild's incarcerated students. College Guild's 25+ correspondence courses have reached more than 9,000 prisoners across the country for 21 years. Expertise in a particular field is not necessary, as the courses are designed to engage a variety of educational backgrounds and interests. Rather than "correcting" students' work, our Readers provide constructive feedback, encouragement, and a link with the outside world. Please see our Volunteer website for more information and to volunteer! www.collegeguild.org/volunteer-page-pitch
