    Description

    We are seeking a Grant Researcher & Writer for a Devxchange International Programs-supported project. If you have knowledge and experience in researching, developing and submitting proposals and would like to apply your skills and knowledge for a good cause, please apply,

    It is an opportunity to gain further experience in the field of charity and be a part of a dynamic, supportive team where your contribution would matter. What is needed from you:

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Research and identify grant opportunities based on funding amount needed, location, and project organization.
    • Assemble/submit grant requests, including letters, proposals, budgets, and presentations.
    • Track and create a calendar of grant opportunities - including deadline dates, required materials, etc.
    • Complete grant applications.
    • Successfully understand and communicate the organization’s mission and vision.
    • Report regularly on the status of your work.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Excellent written communication skills-proficiency in English.
    • Top-shelf research skills.
    • Ability to understand the requirements of both the organization in need of funding and the organization that is offering the grant money.
    • Great organizational skills.
    • Ability to read, interpret, and apply regulations, policies, and procedures.
    • Ability to use and access database computer applications and/or willingness to learn.
    • Ability to organize work and set priorities to meet deadlines.
    • Being able to understand and execute complex instructions
    • Computer skills: Google Drive/Google Docs.
