Dulce Vida Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to saving the lives of abandoned and abused dogs and cats across California and Mexico. Role Summary

We’re looking for a dedicated Assistant to the Founder to help keep our rescue running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone organized, proactive, and passionate about animal welfare. You’ll support the founder with administrative tasks, foster and volunteer coordination, vet appointments, and general communication—especially if you speak Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Assist the founder with scheduling and coordinating vet appointments
• Communicate with foster families, volunteers, and adopters via phone, email, or text
• Help manage emails, calendar, and administrative tasks
• Support event coordination and other operational needs as required
• Provide general assistance to ensure smooth daily operations

What We’re Looking For

• Bilingual in Spanish and English is highly preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude
• Comfortable handling multiple tasks and following directions
• Passion for animal welfare and rescue work
