    Volunteer Event Manager

    Help empower small business owners in Rhode Island!

    SCORE is the nation’s largest network of volunteer expert business mentors. SCORE Rhode Island provides free mentoring and business education to help local entrepreneurs and small businesses succeed. Learn more at https://ri.score.org.

    SCORE Rhode Island is seeking a volunteer Event Manager. The successful candidate will work remotely and assist in planning, promoting, and coordinating our in-person workshops. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in marketing, event logistics, and community development.

    The Event Manager works closely with experienced mentors and community partners who are delivering educational programs that help entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses.

    💼 Responsibilities

      • Promote SCORE workshops through email, social media, and partner networks
      • Coordinate event logistics (registration, attendance tracking, setup)
      • Manage technical tools and platforms (Zoom, AV equipment, presentation slides)
      • Communicate with speakers and volunteers before and after events
      • Maintain accurate records of participation and feedback
