    Must be caring & compassionate to deal well with patients, their families, visitors, and staff. Must maintain strict confidentiality, be dependable and be able to work well with others. Prolonged walking and standing.

    Description

    Provide support services to the hospital's Emergency Room staff and patients consistent with the goals of the hospital. Volunteers will serve as a liaison between the ED waiting room and patient care area. Give patient status to families when appropriate. Assist patients as directed by staff. Run errands to lab, clinics, medical records & surgical services.

    2 shifts available:

    • 12:00 to 16:00 EST
    • 16:00 to 20:00 EST
