    Basic volunteer duties involved with this assignment:

    1. Keep laundry at shelter going by loading washers, dryers, and folding linens

    Must attend Volunteer Orientation and 10 minute on-the-job training

    The animals of HSSC

    What is the anticipated benefit of this volunteer service to those receiving the service?

    Providing clean linens for the animals to sleep on will be beneficial to volunteers as they are impacting the animals' lives by providing them comfort

    What specific skills will the volunteer need?

    1. Must be able to lift 10+ lbs
    2. Must be able to bend and unload washers and dryers
    3. Must be able to stand while loading machines (a chair is provided for between loads)
    4. Must be okay around dirty laundry/animal bedding
