    Description

Read with Hospice Patients – Expand Their World and Yours

Do you enjoy reading? Are you available 45 minutes a week? ACG Hospice volunteers can enhance the lives of patients by reading to those who are visually impaired. What you read can be determined by you and the person you'll be reading with. That may include novels, the Bible, magazines, various sources of current events, or any materials you and your patient choose. Training will be provided, and you will be matched with a patient whose interests and schedules are compatible with yours. By sharing the joy of reading, you can open someone else’s world.
