    Description

    1. Outreach Volunteer

Help us connect with educators, authors, and community partners.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Using WAA’s outreach email templates to contact:
      • English teachers
      • Authors
      • Creative writing educators
      • Community arts partners
    • Sending clear, warm, and professional emails that introduce our workshop and invite collaboration
    • Tracking who has been contacted and noting any replies or follow‑ups needed

This role is perfect for volunteers who enjoy communication, relationship‑building, and representing a youth‑led arts organization with professionalism and heart.

    About Our Activity:

As part of the international youth arts festival, we are hosting a zine‑making workshop where students and adults will explore how to incorporate character design, imagery, and visual storytelling into their own zines. Participants will create a zine focused on a topic they want to change or uplift in their community. Along the way, they’ll build transferable skills in imagery, creative writing, and communication skills that support them in academic, professional, and personal settings.
