Makeup Artist Volunteers Needed for A New Way of Life’s 27th Annual Gala!

Opportunity Description

A New Way of Life Reentry Project (ANWOL) is seeking compassionate and skilled makeup artists to volunteer at our 27th Annual Gala. This special event celebrates the strength, resilience, and achievements of formerly incarcerated women rebuilding their lives through our reentry programs.

As a volunteer makeup artist, you will help our residents feel confident, beautiful, and empowered as they prepare for an unforgettable evening. Your talent will directly support our mission of providing healing, dignity, and community for individuals transitioning back into society.

Volunteer Responsibilities

• Provide makeup services to ANWOL residents attending the gala
• Create natural, elegant, or event-ready looks based on the individual’s preferences
• Bring your own kit (recommended)
• Support a welcoming and uplifting environment for participants

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience as a makeup artist (professional or highly skilled hobbyist)
• Ability to work compassionately with individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Friendly, supportive attitude
• Ability to volunteer for the full shift (12 PM – 4 PM)
