    Description

Do you want to end hunger and contribute to Martin Luther King Jr. Day’s legacy of service?

Join this Outreach & Education opportunity to spread awareness about Shorefront Jewish Community Council’s Food Pantry and community services. Grow outreach skills, meet friends, and honor Dr. King’s legacy to fight poverty in South Brooklyn communities on Friday, January 16 from 9:30-2PM.

Each year, SJCC’s Food Pantry nourishes more than 36,000 individuals across South Brooklyn. As a volunteer, you’ll help bridge community members to vital resources, from food support to case management, immigrant services, and English classes, making a direct impact on reducing hunger and strengthening our shared community.

Sign up today to join this national day of service to end hunger in local and national communities!

Please contact volunteers@shorefrontjcc.org or 718-743-0575 EXT. 7506 with all questions.

    • This opportunity includes active, in-person outreach within the community and may require light physical movement.*
