    Resource Development Volunteer – End of Year Fundraising Campaign

    Description

    HYU Spiritual Life & Learning Society is seeking two Resource Development Volunteers to support donor relations and strategic partnerships during our 2025 End-of-Year Fundraising Campaign.

    This is a volunteer opportunity to gain hands-on experience in fundraising and community engagement while supporting HYU’s vision of building a spiritual learning house, healthcare center, and self-healing ministry.

    As a Resource Development Volunteer, you’ll have the option to contribute through one of our teams:

    Community Engagement Team

    • Promote participation in fundraising events and initiatives
    • Work with local organizations, businesses, and residents to spread awareness of HYU’s mission
    • Attend events and connect with the community
    • Gather feedback to help assess program effectiveness

    Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Team

    • Create an individual fundraising page to share with friends, family, and colleagues
    • Actively promote HYU’s “Being Courageously Powerful” fundraising campaign
    • Encourage your network to support HYU’s vision through donations and awareness

    Responsibilities

    • Assist with donor communication, event coordination, and basic data entry
    • Help create marketing and outreach materials
    • Collaborate closely with HYU leaders and fellow volunteers to ensure smooth progress

    Qualifications

    • Interest in fundraising, outreach, or community service (no prior experience required)
    • Willingness to learn and take initiative
    • Clear and friendly communication skills
    • Ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment
