    Art Group Volunteer Description

    DrawBridge is seeking 2-3 experienced volunteers to assist children and youth through a range of expressive art activities in a group setting led by a trained DrawBridge art group Facilitator. All activities are already preplanned by trained DrawBridge art Facilitator. Volunteers will arrive 10 minutes early to group to help set up, engage children in the art activity, and at the end help clean up.

    Each group is 1x a week for one hour or 1x every other week for 1 hour. It is required that you commit to 6 months if possible

    Desired qualities include creativity, kindness, ability to listen, patience and ability to give unconditional support.

    About DrawBridge

    For more than 30 years, DrawBridge has provided free expressive arts programs to children at homeless shelters, affordable housing facilities, and neighborhood community centers across seven San Francisco Bay Area counties. Offering child-focused art experiences and quality art supplies, children ages five and up are able to connect with their community and explore playful creativity that is critical to healthy development.
