    About Plate & Pathways

    Plate & Pathways is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on increasing food access, strengthening families, and creating sustainable pathways to stability. Through food distribution, community programming, and family engagement initiatives, we work to address food insecurity while fostering empowerment and connection.

    As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Volunteer Administrative Assistant to help strengthen our internal operations.

    Position Overview

    The Volunteer Administrative Assistant will provide essential operational support to leadership. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, structure, and helping mission-driven organizations run efficiently behind the scenes.

    Your support will directly enhance our capacity to serve families and expand programming

    Key Responsibilities

    • Organizing and maintaining digital documents and files
    • Managing shared folders and internal systems
    • Scheduling and confirming appointments
    • Drafting and sending follow-up emails
    • Assisting with data entry and record tracking
    • Supporting event preparation logistics (as needed)
    • Maintaining organized contact lists and communication logs

    Qualifications

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Professional written communication skills
    • Comfortable using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar)
    • Ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines
    • Prior administrative or office support experience preferred
    • Passion for nonprofit or community-based work
