    Description

Growth Against Adversity (GAA) is a global youth-led nonprofit dedicated to providing educational aid, mentorship, and resources to students facing limited opportunities-both in developing countries and in underserved communities within successful nations. Our mission is to bridge the gap in access to education, foster leadership, and empower the next generation to rise beyond their circumstances.

As a State or International Ambassador, you will represent GAA in your region, helping expand our impact, lead initiatives, and connect underserved students with opportunities for growth. This is a leadership role perfect for passionate changemakers, student leaders, and community organizers who want to make a measurable difference while gaining leadership experience.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Serve as the main GAA representative for your city, state (U.S.) or city, country (international).
    • Organize at least 1-2 educational aid initiatives per term (e.g., book drives, mentorship programs, school supply fundraisers, letter campaigns).
    • Recruit and lead volunteers within your region.
    • Partner with local schools, libraries, and youth organizations to extend GAA’s reach.
    • Share GAA updates and campaigns in your community and online.

    What You Gain:

    • Leadership Experience - Manage your own projects and team.
    • Community Impact - Directly support students who lack educational resources.
    • Global Networking - Connect with GAA ambassadors and leaders worldwide.
    • Service Hours - Eligible for verified volunteer hours for school, scholarships, or honor societies.
    • Awards & Recognition - Top ambassadors are honored annually for their impact.

    Requirements:

    • Ages 13-22
