Join Operation Meraki’s Social Media Team and help amplify the voices, stories, and impact of the veterans we serve.
As a volunteer, you will support our digital presence across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X, helping us connect with the community, highlight programs, and share real veteran stories that matter.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and schedule engaging social media content aligned with Operation Meraki’s mission and values.
- Monitor platforms and engage with followers through comments and messages.
- Collaborate with media, outreach, and program teams to highlight events, initiatives, and veteran experiences.
- Support the growth of our follower base and strengthen community engagement.
- Track basic performance metrics such as reach and engagement as needed
Ideal Candidate
- Passionate about veteran advocacy and community impact
- Comfortable using social media platforms and basic content creation tools
- Creative, reliable, and a strong written communicator
- Able to commit 3 to 5 hours per week with a flexible schedule
