    Details

    Location - on site in Chiang Mai, Thailand

    Timeframe - prefer a commitment of minimum 8 weeks/2 months

    Volunteer needs to be able to support themselves while in Thailand, there is no stipend or compensation

    Main Responsibilities

    Teaching English as scheduled (evenings)

    Helping to teach at and support the GED program (mornings)

    Follow curriculum and make lesson plans

    Willing to tutor students when not teaching

    Qualification Requirements

    Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent

    TESOL/TEFL Certificate

    Preferred prior teaching experience and/or knowledge of GED curriculum

    Fluency in English (C1 or IELTS 7/8 for non-native speakers) with excellent reading, writing, and speaking skills

    Directions

    Will be working at the Seed Center in Faham about 20 minutes from the main office location.

    If asked for an interview and accepted, you will need to be able to complete and send:

    Police/Background check completed within 12 months of intended arrival
