    Description

    Grant Application Processor

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized volunteer to serve as a Grant Application Processor. This individual will play a vital role in identifying, preparing, and submitting grant applications to secure funding for PopFix’s mission. PopFix is a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing the stray animal population in Mississippi through affordable spay and neuter services. By helping stray cats and dogs, we’re creating a better future for animals and the communities they inhabit.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Research available grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
    • Review grant guidelines and application requirements to ensure eligibility.
    • Draft, organize, and submit grant applications in a timely manner.
    • Track deadlines, submissions, and responses from grantmakers.
    • Collaborate with PopFix leadership to gather necessary documents and information for applications.

    Qualifications

    • Strong written communication skills with attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Experience in grant writing or nonprofit administration is a plus but not required.
    • Proficiency in online research and basic office software (e.g., Google Workspace).
    • Passion for animal welfare and a commitment to PopFix’s mission.
