    Description

    PLATFORM for the NEEDY (PLANE) a charity NGO operating in Fort Portal City, Kabarole district ,Rwenzori region of Western Uganda, is looking for a committed, caring and passionate Fundraising and Event Coordinator .

    He/she will be responsible for the coordination and support for the organization's fundraising events and activities both online and locally.

    The officer will also be responsible for looking for partnerships, sponsors, advertising , coordination and recruiting volunteers, fundraising activities and generating donations for our projects and campaigns.

    This is a virtual opportunity that requires the skills of fundraising on Facebook and crowdfunding platforms.

    The roles and responsibilities include the following:

    • Production of event materials like fliers, letters, invitations,posters etc.
    • Coordination with Executive Director and Programs manager , plan , develop the implementation of ambitious fundraising strategies.
    • Organize and execute event marketing and outreaches
    • Solicitation of sponsors and partners for both monetary and in kind -giving.
    • Maintaining fundraising events calender and donors data base.
    • Manage and recruit volunteers ad ambassadors for the organization's growth
    • Organize and complete events mailings
