    Fresno Farm Field Project - Saturdays

    Howdy!

    Join Farms to Grow, Inc for the "Fresno - Farm Field Project" outdoor experience on Saturdays, 7:30 am - 11:30 am. If you are looking for a way to make an impact and learn farming traditions from an elder, this is the perfect volunteer opportunity for you.

    You will be assisting an experienced farmer who recently secured his first contract for his produce, after years of facing numerous obstacles and discrimination. This is a unique opportunity to learn and support an incredibly deserving and knowledgeable farmer.

    If you are skilled in carpentry, mechanics or electrician we can sure use you help!

    Put on your hat, wear a mask, enclosed shoes and garden gloves to join the team. Groups welcomed!

    FARMS TO GROW, INC is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to working with Black farmers and underserved sustainable farmers around the country. Our aim is to increase the capacity of underserved farmers to keep their farm operations and establish farming as a viable career for future generations.

    Underserved farmers may include Native American, Hispanic, other minority groups, women, the physically challenged and limited access organic farmers.
