    Description

We are excited to welcome an additional web developer to our IT team as we continue building our new website in WordPress. As the scope of the project grows, we are looking for another developer to collaborate closely with the team on implementation, functionality, and performance.

    Qualifications

We are seeking a WordPress-focused web developer with a strong understanding of front-end and back-end development. Ideal candidates will have experience with:

    • WordPress site development, customization, and maintenance
    • PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for custom themes, plugins, and functionality
    • Implementing and extending existing themes and page builders (e.g., Elementor)
    • Ensuring responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
    • Optimizing site performance, security, and scalability
    • Collaborating with designers to translate UI/UX concepts into functional pages

Experience working within a shared development environment is highly valued, as you’ll be working alongside team members contributing to different parts of the site.

    About Remineralize the Earth

At Remineralize the Earth, we promote soil remineralization and enhanced rock weathering (ERW)—the use of finely ground rock dust and sea-based minerals to restore soils and forests, increase crop yields and nutritional quality, and help store carbon in soils to stabilize the climate.

    The Project

You will collaborate with the IT team on the development and functionality of our new WordPress website over the next few months. The schedule is flexible. We communicate on Slack and hold one meeting biweekly with the IT team.
