    Organization Description

Santos Creations Educational Foundation (SCEF) is a pan-African nonprofit advancing education quality, accountability, and inclusive development across Africa. SCEF is the host organization of the New Education Standard Award Africa (NESA-Africa) and the implementation partner for Education Support & Impact Aid Africa (EduAid-Africa)β€”a framework that converts education recognition into measurable post-award legacy impact.

    SCEF’s flagship initiatives include:

    • New Education Standard Award Africa (NESA-Africa)
    • Education Support & Impact Aid Africa (EduAid-Africa)
    • Education Online Africa
    • Rebuild My School Africa (Legacy Infrastructure Programme)

    Position Summary

SCEF is seeking a senior, experienced fundraising professional to support strategic fundraising, corporate sponsorship, CSR/ESG partnerships, and donor stewardship across the full NESA-Africa 2025–2027 project lifecycle.

This is not an internship or entry-level role. Applicants must demonstrate a proven fundraising track record and the ability to contribute immediately within a high-integrity, governance-driven education programme.

Programme Context (How the Work Fits)

The role spans three connected programme phases:

    1. EduAid-Africa (Education Support & Engagement)

    October 2025 – December 2026

Education-focused webinars and community learning programmes; ideal for CSR, foundation, and education-support funding.

    1. NESA-Africa Awards (Recognition & Accountability)

    February – June 2026

Continental education awards with strict non-interference governance; high-visibility corporate, broadcast, and event sponsorship.

    1. Rebuild My School Africa (Legacy & Infrastructure)

    June 2026 – June 2027

Post-award delivery of inclusive education infrastructure, including Special Needs Education facilities across African regions.

Fundraising is structured as one continuous lifecycle, not separate campaigns.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support strategic fundraising planning across all programme phases
    • Identify and engage corporate CSR, ESG, foundation, and institutional donors
    • Develop sponsorship proposals, concept notes, and donor briefs
    • Support donor stewardship, reporting, and long-term relationship building
    • Ensure compliance with non-interference, brand safety, and governance standards

    Fundraising Targets (Indicative)

    • EduAid-Africa: USD $50,000–$150,000 (programme and session sponsorships)
    • NESA-Africa Awards: USD $150,000–$300,000 (corporate, broadcast, event sponsorship)
    • Rebuild My School Africa: USD $250,000+ (multi-year legacy and infrastructure funding)

Performance is assessed on contribution, pipeline development, and secured partnerships, not commission.

    Volunteer Benefits (Professional-Level)

This is a strategic volunteer engagement, not a learning placement.

    • Executive-level impact on a continental flagship education programme
    • Portfolio-ready experience in CSR/ESG and governance-driven fundraising
    • Professional recognition (Certificate + Letter of Recommendation)
    • Strategic pan-African and global network exposure
    • Flexible, remote engagement with clear scope and boundaries
    • Contribution to long-term, measurable education legacy

    Required Qualifications (Mandatory)

This role is strictly for experienced professionals.

    Applicants must demonstrate:

    • Proven track record in nonprofit fundraising, sponsorship, or grant development
    • Experience engaging corporate CSR, ESG, foundations, or institutional donors
    • Strong proposal writing and donor relationship management skills
    • Ability to work independently in a remote, pan-African context
    • Understanding of ethical, compliance-driven fundraising

Students, interns, and first-time fundraisers should not apply.

    Video Interview Questions (Required)

Applicants must submit a video recording (10–20 minutes total) answering 10 structured interview questions (shared in the application instructions).
